Oluwayomi Adebule – Senior Tax Advisor

I’m ‘Yomi, a tax and legal practitioner with over seventeen (17) years’ experience in Tax Advisory, Compliance and Regulatory Services.

My brief stint with the prestigious firm of Ayanlaja (SAN), Adesanya (SAN) & Co and over four years as a senior tax associate at Akintola Williams Deloitte (a member firm of the global brand, Deloitte) provided necessary exposure managing the interest of a wide range of clientele in varied industries. In my role as a senior tax advisor for Oando, I offer support to Oando Plc and its subsidiaries in the areas of tax strategy and management.

I serve as a member of the International Tax faculty of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), of which I have been a Fellow for twelve years. I am also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators UK.

I am vying for the position of Vice President, and this is my manifesto:

• Increased engagement of members to provide a platform where members feel heard.
• Increased visibility of EXCO members with timely updates on the society’s activities
• Engage consultants to explore mortgage facilities under the NHF and Pension funds
• Identify other income generating ventures for investment purposes
• Revisit the automation project to ensure seamless operations and less manual operations for the admin or finance secretary and cooperative officer
• Revamp the seasonal gifts offering and provide more attractive options
